I think the AFL call that foreplay.

Re: Fixture 2019
Afl made a massive blunder putting carlton into 5/6 Friday night games, Could'nt belive that and still no idea why they did that. Woeful games. I think that is causing a bit of shite now, those who missed out this year want their turn in 2019. Don't think the Pies have ever done it hard have they?CURLY wrote: ↑Wed 31 Oct 2018 9:52amCollingwood got a AFL approved easy draw this season which includes the bottom 4 twice plus the no trip to WC Skilled Tassie or anywhere else its hard to win.chico2001 wrote: ↑Wed 31 Oct 2018 9:30am I haven't seen the new draw Curly, but it was indicated that sides that finished lower on the ladder in 2018 will play each other twice in 2019 and probably top 4 or 5 once. Hence the importance of winning games and not accepting mediocrity in anything we do because that keeps you low on the ladder and you will get the raw deal from the AFL.
But you cant blame the AFL, that is a cop out, this is the clubs fault for poor leadership over the years. Must win games ,no excuses.

Re: Fixture 2019
Just had a look at the first 10 rounds.
Holy moly.
Realistically, you could only say there is 2 possible wins there. Possibly.
Richo is going to be gone quick smart, which is great.

I think that’s just life when you’re the 3rd worst team in the comp.iwantmeseats wrote: ↑Thu 01 Nov 2018 12:07pm Just had a look at the first 10 rounds.

Re: Fixture 2019
Gee Bratty it will be 11.10 am for us Western Sainters on Sunday March 24th. Ofcourse that is depending if you eastern staters are sill on daylight saving time or not. ????
Damnation that is such a morning inconvenience for us. We will have hardly had time to get home from our heavenly singing at church before we start shouting obscenities at the the telly. Oh well such is life
Re: Fixture 2019
That’s not how it works. You get a maximum of 1 top 6 team finishing in the bottom 6.

Re: Fixture 2019
Seems about right. these are who we play twice
Melbourne 5th
Adelaide 12th
Fremantle 14th
Gold Coast 17th
Carlton 18th
Only play one top 8 team twice and the bottom 2 teams twice. What more do you want

We are dead set the sparkling vampires of the AFL.

The fixture is about as good as we could expect.
Win some games and it will improve next year.

Re: Fixture 2019
I watched the PM'S 11 cricket match yesterday at Manuka oval. Great venue.
I will gladly go to the GWS match there in May.

"The Saints will boast a trio of Canberra juniors, with ex-Giants Jack Steele and Josh Bruce teaming up with Logan Austin to give the visitors a familiar feel at Manuka."

Re: Fixture 2019
Good draw overall. Nothing out of the ordinary. The last half of the draw looks easier than the first.
We only play Melbourne twice which is good and we have a good record against them.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Anyway, you know what I mean.
I always thought they spun a bingo machine and drew out balls to decide who plays who and where.
