Better from a very low base. Hannebery will help but a rotation player mid/forward
Steven - finds ball break away speed, average disposal
Ross - finds ball , covers ground, poor defensively
Steele - best 2 way mid
Hannebery - Best disposal of all, can his body stand up?
Gresham - talent not issue but still building the tank for the mid field
Billings - pinch hitter at best - see Gresham re tank
Acres- unique to group with size , but will AR let him play there?
Dunstan - smart footy brain finds ball, but butchers it
Armitage - finds ball, hard at it but slow. Good end of qtrs when others have slowed.
Not putting the fear of god in too many good teams.
to get better need new guys to be given chance and step up
- Phillip, Paton Coffield, Clark, - issue there is none have developed the tank and/or body yet to consistently play mid field
Don't know where you get the Idea Hannebery has the best disposal??? It's worse than all but three players you have listed The knock on him on the Swans forum is that he has poor disposal
Anyway just had a look.....
Here's the stats for clanger averages per game 2018 from least to most clangers average per game 2018
Billings 2.3
Gresham 2.6
Steele 2.8
Armo 2.9
Acres 2.9
HANNEBERY 3.1
Dunstan 3.5
Steven 3.9
Seb Ross 4.0
its the type of crash and bash game he plays similar to Dunstan ... So if Dustan "butchers it" your going to be way off the mark about Hanners
Ha! See! I haven't been able to convince any1 here that Seb Ross butchers the ball.
Also forgot about D-Mac, who comes in for Geary, who is put to pasture.
Slot in Hannerbrey and Kent. Things are looking better already.
My midfield starters:
R: Pearce Ross Steven
C: Billings Hannerbrey Clark
Rotate through the midfield: Steele, Gresham, Acres.
Obviously players like Kent, Dunstan, Paton, Phillips and Sinclair will rotate through the mids also dependent on selections and/or positions they play.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
Total = 1.

Ok well i was already feeling down about the trade period now noting we have picked up another butcher makes me feel even worse, That said stats can be misleading as includes all disposals, under pressure or not. Streaming into 50 i would much prefer Hanners or Ross with the ball over Dunstan

DH coming into the side helps Dunstan, some seem to forget he's been crashing in and doing a lot of the grunt work since his debut in a young and developing midfield. Dunstan will be one to watch in 2019 I reckon, here's hoping he gets off the chain.
Really need/hope Gresh, Acres and Steele all improve to solid B+ to A- midfielders next season. Sinclair and Billings also given more midfield time. Cant see why Geary cant be tried as a lockdown player and allow Steele of the chain a bit next year, he runs all day and knows how to sit on someone. End ofthe day we need to allow Steven and Ross to get a bit more freedom and it will only happen if others step up and give opposition coaches something to worry about.

Surely Steele and Acres are ahead of billings and Clark for a starting mid position?
No point keeping them on the list if the can't get ahead of a half forward and a 19 year old in the midfield.
