I've never been a fan of playing blokes injured.
Heard Big Carl say that he reckoned that was the one and only weakness as a coach Jeansie had. He would play injured players at the expense of fit players.
Just let him get right - apparently Billy was given an early shower this season to get his body right for a full pre-season.
I think it goes a step worse than this
A rusted on coach will player his injured preferred players before they right
But on the flip side use it as an excuse to not play others on the list and might have a niggle but still running at say 90%
One of my pet peeves with RL

You are right there.

I was in the Saints rooms with my dad as guests of Ian Drake at Glenferrie Oval in the early sixties. when that absolute prick Brendon Edwards was lining players up for cheap shots.

Half the side were being injected at half time. Eric Guy was an exception, told the medicos to f*** off.

Played Baldock many times when he could hardly walk,

So Billy was quick when he was younger?

Maybe he's become too heavy.

Well done HTB, good find. Touted as a potential pick 5, so must have gone alright. Unfortunately you have wonder about our ability to develip players in past years

Not sure that Billy being more interested in Call of Duty than being a professional footballer has anything to do with our development program. Bloke is just lazy.

Josh Fraser went @ #1.

Means nothing down the track.

You'd think we would have announced resigning billy if he was going to be main ruck next year.

They do say he wasn’t a high possession winner.

At least he’s been consistent in that regard
