Ross Lyon, Peter Bell and Freo
All is not well in the West. Freo is in a shambles at the moment apparantly. Lyon running around like a mad man too. No one is on the same page. They have disrupted the entire trade period.
The Saints are not a shambles by any stretch. Maybe we are going ok at the moment compared to some. Lethlean has brought in some great people on and off the field. Things are looking better already IMO.

Its not a bad trading period...plus it hasn't even finished nor has the draft.
PR machine?
Depression central this place sometimes it seems.

Re: Ross Lyon, Peter Bell and Freo
I think they are right refusing to overpay for Hogan.
They will get Lobbe, who is a key forward and with pick 5 who they will get for Neale they can draft a King.
They are a few years away from competing particularly if they lose Neale so why rush in a full forward.

Guys I really have this thing where I don't give a crap about what happens to Ross Lyon.
Freo are a rabble....Eat a big one Ross.

There’s nothing that says success as much as other people failing worse.
Where did Freo finish last season? What a rabble.

There rabble isn't as good a rabble, as our rabble.
We excel at being a rabble.

Scully choosing Hawthorn over us is a 'shambles' how, exactly?
He made it clear he wants to go to a club that is close to success. We're clearly not. So unless we straight out lie to him and he's an idiot - what more can the List Management team do?
By the way, the talk in the media is that his ankle is really bad. That's why GWS aren't demanding more for him. Hawthorn are confident they can 'fix' it, but not confident enough to offer more than pick 50 or whatever it is.

Re: Ross Lyon, Peter Bell and Freo
It just looks like Freo have utterly panicked and lost the plot. Now it appears they're allowing Bell to run amock.
Lyon will be gone by the end of next season, whether they sack him or he walks.

Source?
Specific examples?
Or more Teddysainter bulls***?
Wait & see!
So in your book we’ve done well to get Kent and Hannebery but Freo a shambles while Hogan & Lobb have nominated Freo as their preferred destination.
Neale wants out but they’ll make Lions pay like they did with GC last year and little Mav.

Sorry- I must have missed something. When did we as a club formally accept that our pathetic attempt at executing our 2020 premiership plan is over?rodgerfox wrote: ↑Sat 13 Oct 2018 1:17pmAre you able to elaborate on that?ss1986 wrote: ↑Sat 13 Oct 2018 9:22amAhhhh, the PR machine has started rolling... in readiness to justify our sh*thouse trading period.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Sat 13 Oct 2018 9:10am All is not well in the West. Was it formally determined that our coach was not culpable for us missing the Top 4 last year like the Board believed we should?
Because if thats the case, and its acceptable for Tom Scully not to choose us on the basis that Hawthorn are in flag contention and we are not, then nowhere near enough heads have rolled internally for the dismal failure of that plan...
Coach and CEO included.
And where is the blueprint for the 2025 plan?

Imagine if his ankle is no good and we couldn't get him out on the field or he could play to previous levels .This joint would soon go into meltdown saying we have no idea.

Whatever is good enough for Hawthorn should be good enough for us.derby Street wrote: ↑Sat 13 Oct 2018 6:21pm Imagine if his ankle is no good and we couldn't get him out on the field or he could play to previous levels .This joint would soon go into meltdown saying we have no idea.
Instead, we’ll go to yet another draft... take more punts on kids that won’t make it cos we cant develop them, and it’ll be groundhog day yet again.
Pardon me for having ZERO faith in this club’s recruitment and development strategy at the moment.
Would far rather see some proven experience walk in right now to try and fast track the development of the good kids we supposedly already have.

So landing Hogan, Lobb, Collyer & Conca is a shambles?tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Sat 13 Oct 2018 9:10am All is not well in the West. Freo is in a shambles at the moment apparantly. Lyon running around like a mad man too. No one is on the same page. They have disrupted the entire trade period.

But securing Dean Kent is astute trading?
Would be disappointed losing Neale who is a gun but can be covered with the maturing Bradshaw & Ceres.

Depends on what metric grading system you use.
Internally, Freo has many issues around Lyon and Bell. It will play out.

We're in no state to be tarring other clubs as shambles. Need to fix our own backyard first. It was only four years ago that we thought we had the high ground over Essendon.
