Billy is a good Innisfail boy, for those of you who don't know where Innisfail is, it's a little north of the Murray.

Jeezus, with Hannebery & Slater there for the preseason, along with the new Coaches, there'll be nowhere to hide. There will be an improved culture.

I'm sure Hannebery won't be backwards in letting his new teamates know why Sydney have consistently pummelled us for the last few years and how to fix that.

"Recently-retired Melbourne Storm superstar Billy Slater will be heavily involved with the Saints’ leadership and development programs through a newly-created role."

so leadership and development - not tackling coach as people have alluded to - and part time.

Most likely will says one of the reports. Splitting his time at the Saints and the Storm.

You would surely have him running drills in the first week. No question.

He built a mansion in Beaconsfield last year.

Lots of horses. Big.

I’m glad the club is trying something different. I hope Billy can bring some innovation and positivechange to our leadership and development programs.

I haven't heard that old saying for years Loris, the last time I would have heard that was when my Mum yelled it out at the top of her voice while we were driving her crazy with hitting a ball up against the side of the house. It's right up there with, "were you born in a tent", or "I know you're a pain, but you're not a pane of glass", (so get out of the way of the TV, or go and play in the traffic, and shut the bloody door). Don't normally do the emoji thing on here Loris but for SS royalty...

Yes, except for the 3 letters that don't fit.

Good news. Great to have such a professional at the club. Hopefully some of it can rub off onto the players.

This has put the Saints in the news in all Rugby nations. Nice to get the club some good news exposure for once.
Wish it was announced earlier may have, in some way, helped in landing some players.

Maybe we can now attract a heap of League players?
