Indeed, Christmas has come early!!!!!

Not rated in the 'inner sanctum' footy circles as highly as by some on here!!!!!

Interesting, not to me though, just states a real lack of understanding by many posters on here, no surprise though!!!!!

Does this increase our chances of taking one of the Kings with pick 4? I personally think we need more mids with pace and skill, even with Hickey gone.

It's much worse than pick 39.

We give them 60 this year and will also swap our 4th rounders next year.

If the ladder is the same next year, the trade values Hickey at a pick in the 60's

We're dead-set losers.

I find these hard to follow....

But it seems to me we've given up Hickey AND Pick 60 for Pick 39...

Then traded a future Pick 50-odd for a future Pick 60-odd.

Does that seem like we've been pillaged? Or have I misread?

Swans just gave the Pussy Cats Gary Rohan for a 4th round pick. It's all relative

Yeah, that's a s**t deal, really. Second rounder was fine, but not sure why we'd have entertained #60 out the door.

We have stuffed up again.
Lets summarise:

Out: Hickey , pick 60 and next years 4th Round

In: Pick 39 and next years 4th round

Lets assume we finish 14th and West Coast finish 4th

Out: Hickey pick 60 this year and pick 59 next year

In: Pick 39 and pick 69 next year.

On that basis we gave Hickey for a pick in the high 40's, low 50's, for a player that is still contracted to us.

How dumb is our club.

Geez that looks like a disaster based on this year's standings.

Settle in for another 5 years in the bottom 4.

You sure?????

You, along with other novice's, got sucked in with Hickledik's ball getting ability whilst over looking all other weaknesses in his game, as I have constantly pointed out and been justified by with today's outcome!!!!!

You'll catch up!!!!! ;)

From something I just read on the AFL site, it seems that this deal now allows us to make the Hannebery trade. Does that mean that the Swans want pick 39 for Hannebery???

Confirms my thoughts #60 should have been off the table at least.

Will allow other trades to get done though, I'm sure it's why we got this done early.

OK, I've calmed down a bit

But I still think we should have received higher than 39.

Yeah, but we'll insist they take Jack Steven and next years first rounder as a package.
