I hate Melbourne

I like Melbourne, probably my second favourite team, I hope they go all the way. They’ve got great kids and play an exciting brand of football

An example of changing coaches as part of a program to get success. We are stable: 4 wins 2014; 4 wins 2018. Melbourne completely unstable, 4 wins 2014; prelim and a huge percentage 2018. Can't they see they made a terrible mistake coaching wise. Thank goodness our board can look beyond the superficialness of playing in September.

Good luck to Melbourne. They might as well get it over with — win the premiership and make us the club with the longest premiership drought. I met a long time suffering Melbourne fan a couple of weeks ago who was excited about where they were at. I argued with him that we were far more due a premiership, but I just made myself look and feel petty.
I still like what I see re Petracca, even if Oliver and Brayshaw are ahead of him at this stage.

Very lucky geelong played so poorly, a better team would've run all over them in the second half. When they earn it I'll tip my hat to them.

I didn't handle the Bulldogs winning the flag well...I also didn't handle the Tigers winning it well...too bitter and twisted about our history...but this one I don't really care about anymore...I basically have conceded defeat already...Demons will get theirs before ours...Essendon will win one before us as well and probably Carlton...

Easily, their fans were complete pricks the night they knocked us out at the G in ‘06 after we had all those injuries (well the ones I had the misfortune to encounter post-game were at any rate). Hope they choke and this renaissance proves a false dawn...

Carlton are shite but they have some handy young players developing & it will take a while to get back into finals contention but with another No.1 pick probably a priority pick as well they will be back before us IMO.

That's where the snow jokes come from .....a lot of Cricket members only turn up if the demons are doing well

The MCC section was only 300 short of capacity on Friday night, meaning the remaining 78,000 spots were well less than 90% capacity.

The MCC was huge reason there were 91K not 80K at the game
