I hate Melbourne
Effing typical, the flogs beat the Cats to keep our Dees flag nightmare alive.
Can the Hawks put our misery to rest next week or are we jinxed??
I fear they will beat the Hawks - then we can only hope WCE beat the Pies and host them in Perth in the Prelim.
Time for this horror story to end - I couldn’t handle a third year in a row of drought breaking flags but not us.

Re: I hate Melbourne
Well, we did beat the bulldogs in 2016, the tigers last year and the demons this year so the nightmare may continue.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Melbourne could beat Richmond if they play like that. Was impressive.

Re: I hate Melbourne
What I wanna know is where all those Melbourne supporters came from? Did the club get an 30,000 extra rent-a-fans into the MCG to make up the numbers last night?

I'm with you Saintpremiers. I do not want to see Melbourne win a flag ... at least until we win one. Can you imagine the commentators .... "Poor old St Kilda the only Melb team that hasn't won a flag in over 50 years."

Great to see the Demons win, the Cats looked like the handbaggers of old.
Hope the D's win the G. F.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

no way,Melbourne are way too scared
and if they're gonna butcher the ball and f*** up at the deciding end of good footy when they've got plenty of electricity in their inner 50 with ALL the momentum
they deserve to get bashed by richmond

Re: I hate Melbourne
and Stonecold hates Petracca, but the Tractor showed a lot of poise early tonight, under pressure.
One more thing, Clayton Oliver ran hard straight into Selwood like a steam train, got the ball cleanly
and bounced back off him.
Would never see Billings show that type of hunger, or Ross,
they prefer the 'run past and stick the hand out to collect'.
No fear in that teenager, he was eating raw meat for dinner

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: I hate Melbourne
The first game my Dad (Queensland born and not a footy nut but lived in St Kilda in the 50s and thus supported them - good enough for me) took me to was St Kilda vs Melbourne in around '74. Melbourne won and I convinced myself that I saw Melbourne badges on the umpires white uniforms. I pleaded desperately with Dad to recognize this reality - and to my dismay he siad stuff like, 'Are you sure?' I hate Melbourne badly, like Footscray and Fitzroy, minnow teams we could not bully. Hurts much more. No 'press respectable loss' available. When Joey stole that win a few years back - last 5 seconds - I thought, 'Lovely'.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: I hate Melbourne
Petracca? Oliver and Brayshaw are miles ahead of Petracca. They were very good. Petracca can only get a couple of handballs out, dropped marks, not a good set shot, and has no pace. He will need to pick up his game or he may be out of that side.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Sat 08 Sep 2018 1:32am and Stonecold hates Petracca, but the Tractor showed a lot of poise early tonight, under pressure.

He’s a lot like Acres IMO, still growing into their bodies and need more time in the middle.

Re: I hate Melbourne
Melbourne has played their premiership against the Cats- might be a different story next game. No good going crook at Melbourne, go crook at our president and board over the last 6 seasons for making poor decisions.
