Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
Asked him when Richo would get sacked.
His response: you saints fans aren’t making enough noise!
I said we’re bloody trying our best but need you media blokes to help
His response: he should’ve done the honourable thing like I did!
Bless him

Re: Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
Did you thank him for Roo and Kosi?
Reckon the poor guy was close to a mental break down when he announced his resignation, looked so gaunt.
Have never heard no him say a bad word about St Kilda he took ownership of his performance.

Also our players didn't have the skills required to execute.Doug Booth wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 12:19am Timmy had all these well thought out complex game plns but forgot that most footballers are morons.

2000 is not 2018...I'd kill to have a list as skilled as that team right now!wally wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 9:30amAlso our players didn't have the skills required to execute.Doug Booth wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 12:19am Timmy had all these well thought out complex game plns but forgot that most footballers are morons.

Re: Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
Yeah... at least in 2000 we still had a core group of quality players to build with. 2019... Haven’t got a f**king clue where the improvement is actually going to come from. And even whether or not a lot of these players actually have it in them. A bunch of them have already failed the 50 AFL game test.degruch wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 11:22am2000 is not 2018...I'd kill to have a list as skilled as that team right now!wally wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 9:30amAlso our players didn't have the skills required to execute.Doug Booth wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 12:19am Timmy had all these well thought out complex game plns but forgot that most footballers are morons.

Re: Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
This is from an article at AFL.com regarding 7 Clubs in varying degrees of crisis:
"With a recent change of president, St Kilda is still reviewing the woes of 2018, and more significant changes cannot be ruled out. It has become obvious to the new president Andrew Bassat that the initial review into all aspects of the club’s operations, for several reasons, did not delve sufficiently deep enough".
I doubt a final decision on Richo has been made.

More changes off field are coming but unfortunately Richo won’t be one of them.Linton Lodger wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 11:53am This is from an article at AFL.com regarding 7 Clubs in varying degrees of crisis:

And I don’t know what the changes specifically will be, but mark my words there is more change to come.

Teffers, how do I interpret above?
1. "Like Timid has integrity"
Or
2. "Like Timid" "Has integrity"!
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

No 2 Joff - I actually respect him as I can remember him on radio at the time just simply saying “coaching isn’t for everyone and wasn’t for me”Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Fri 07 Sep 2018 1:06pmTeffers, how do I interpret above?

The thing I respect Tim about is the fact he knew when he should go and that there has never been any scandals surrounding him. Respect the man

Re: Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
I posted this a while back...
Timmy made the biggest mistake a coach can make. He overestimated the quality of his list and topped up. And not only did he overestimate our list, he greatly overrated the ability of the players he brought in too.
As such, after a half decent start, they crashed and burned. Tim fell on the sword rather than go through the rebuild

Re: Just bumped in to Timmy Watson at the G
And, thought jabbing up was no bad thing, even if what was in the syringes was not familiar to those who ran the 'science' out that way.
I still remember Timid 'explaining' clinical trials of AOD 9604, on SEN one day during the 'supplements saga'. So very enlightening...........if you were unsure if you should stay, or run like f*** to get away from the 'Cult of Dank'.
Intristing word, Dank.
