Speaking of dodgey umpiring, the emergency umpire took the ball off Hawkins at a crucial stage. I've never known an emergency umpire to pay a free kick in 50 years of watching footy. In fact I really think it was totally wrong.

Even boundary umpires and goal umpires don't pay free kicks.
