Richardson said tonight on AFL 360 that he believes that they have a very strong group and the group under achieved this year. So something will have to change for 2019.

Yep, he also mentioned that Ratten is coming on as a line coach, but that they haven’t worked out his exact responsibility yet. FFS, this club is being run by a bunch of amateurs. Why would Ratten leave Hawthorn to take on a job as a line coach at St.Kilda?

Head of recruitment is not a complete overhaul of the recruiting department - what about the other recruiters? ... and Polec at $800k/annum (if true) - what's changed?Teflon wrote: ↑Mon 03 Sep 2018 8:26pmFFS we e sacked assistants AND head of recruitment AND Prez fallen sword .....the only muppet left IS the head coachsamoht wrote: ↑Mon 03 Sep 2018 1:03pm I agree, bigcarl.
As long as we don't neglect all other areas - it seems to be all coach with St Kilda, and the other areas, such as recruiting, keep getting overlooked or glossed over.
We need a complete overhaul of the recruiting.
Recruiting is the most important area to get right - but not at St Kilda. We're better than that.
Got to go cho
Do we have a plan going forward? Does Polec have the elite disposal we need - the only thing I like about him is he has a 2 kicks to 1 handball ratio.

Re: Richo - why wouldn’t you sack him?
The more he opens his mouth, the closer this club is to imploding. How on earth can he say 'we have a very strong group and the group under achieved this year'?! It's bad enough that he is incompetent (there were plenty of examples this season to draw this conclusion) but he is also clearly delusional. He is a joke and another season with him at the helm is going to be incredibly hard to bear.

Perhaps he doesn't think those running the club are a bunch of amateurs.Kick-it-lace-out wrote: ↑Mon 03 Sep 2018 9:19pm Yep, he also mentioned that Ratten is coming on as a line coach, but that they haven’t worked out his exact responsibility yet.
