Board meeting 03/09/18
10am today?
Some special, unscheduled board meeting?
Is this true?

Re: Board meeting 03/09/18
They just need to rip the fkn bandaid off in my opinion - it’s now a farce
Hope they do it today
Mind you of the players demanding a change only Steven has earned the right to do so. The rest should buck up and deliver on their potential

Its weird, this came from a number of ITKs, don't know if their source was the same. Ricky Nixon even tweeted that there were significant things occurring at Moorabbin over the weekend. Somethings going on.

WTF are you talking about?
Exactly what is a farce?
A bunch of rumours swirling around a forum website?

Re: Board meeting 03/09/18
so...no media was camped outside the club at 9:45 am to spot the directors.
2.5 hrs later, we have nothing but silence.
Looks like the so-called ITKs on BF
are just full of BS.

Possibly. But since when do Board Meetings only ever occur at the club?WellardSaint wrote: ↑Mon 03 Sep 2018 1:38pm so...no media was camped outside the club at 9:45 am to spot the directors.

Precisely. I know for a fact board meeting can occur in board members homes, I haven't seen it but was told by a reliable source.
Especially when they dont want media involved.

Re: Board meeting 03/09/18
I’ve attended board meetings for years.
They can be held anywhere - location is irrelevant.
What’s important is that there is a quorum - ie enough directors and the right directors under our constitution to have a binding vote and make decisions.

It needs to be a unanimous board decision. There is a majority. It’s just a matter of time. Corporates, benefactors, sponsors, members have inundated the club. He’s gone.

Thanks for your input Joey.
Question is will he be gone prior to FA/trade period commencing?
How many directors are still pro Richo??

I think you make Jaxons and T74 look like minnows for ITK No 11.

Number 11 ..............we can only hope you are right. That is pretty strong if true....

Jaxon's got anything to add? Surely where there is smoke there is fire???

Re: Board meeting 03/09/18
OK, no announcement yet but I will give you a possible explanation.
(by the way I was until recently in the minority who wanted Richardson retained).
Anyhow during September 2012 I met a legendary coach who was going from one of the big clubs to another(has Hawthorn superseded Blues in the big 4?).
Anyway what he told me was that the AFL had offered him and Carlton fixturing inducements in exchange for the announcement of his appointment being timed not to take the gloss off AFL's finals launch.
Guess what today was?
So just because nothing has been announced does not necessarily mean nothing was decided or meeting did not occur!
