My recollection is that was about the only legitimate goal Freo scored for the match - the rest or at least 5 of them were from dodgy free kicks.
The umps "fixed us up" that day.

my memory is not the best, but when we tried to engage Richo from the Power,
he was contracted, the Power had recently spent some coin on sending AR to Hawaii for some type of
intense training seminar;
David Koch went mad publicly saying he was unhappy
with his Director of Coaching being poached.

We had to pay overs to keep the Power happy to release him.

So, we could pay out Longmire's contract, in theory, but The Kremlin
will crack the shites big time about us paying for 2 coaches, when we are up to our necks in debt.

And for Horse to uproot his family to come to a bottom 4 team,
when he's had NO say in the assistants at all?

No way, in no parallel universe ever.

We ended up playing Adelaide in the Qualifying Final instead of WestCoast which we ended up winning.

In the end, it didn’t matter anyway as it played out as it’s always played out.

The AFL Club's seem to have a convention where they let staff who are not Head Coaches go if they land a Head Coaching role.

ie as with Bevo who the Saints had recently hired.

I would be surprised if this would extend to guys who already are current Head Coaches.
