I would rather keep Seb Ross. We actually need to complement Ross and Steven in the midfield, not get rid of one. Plus J. Steven will become a very dangerous small forward when a bit older.

Beams is way better than Steven! Stevens disposal has never been any good. I’d rather keep Steven because he is a saints man and we have so few we just have to keep some character about the place but as an overall player I’d take beams over Steven in a heartbeat

I'd be really disappointed if we lost Jack Steven. However trading Ross for Beams would be the steal of the century for us!

There's a reason Steven gets tagged and Seb Ross doesn't - The opposition want Ross getting it. They don't want Jack getting it.

The rumour going round for half the season is that Beams wants to return to Collingwood. That makes sense. Beams agreeing to come here makes none. He went to Brisbane when they were bad to be closer to his family. I can't think of any reason why he'd want to play for St Kilda.

Jack for their first round draft pick and Beams would be a good trade for us. Jack for their first round would be an even trade. Jack for Beams is dumb. Giving up a home grown good midfielder for someone that would not give us any advantage is a dumb move.
