Re: Lade
His record is fairly good all round but not sure of his coaching success as in flags for Richmond and Port adelaide whilst he was at those clubs. Would have a better resume than some of the coaches just sacked at the saints.

Liked the way he played his footy. Never took a backward step in a contest.
Richo would have been a big fan I'm sure. Went at the footy strongly

Re: Lade
If we gain him, and in particular Ratten, these two will be a significant upgrade on two of the coaches that they will have replaced.
The two between them will add a lot of experience to our coaching panel.

loathed him as a player.

Agreed Jiggers. Its a good get. Ladey is a top operator and we are lucky to nab him.thejiggingsaint wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 2:41pmThat’s as maybe, mate. If the guy is a part of getting this squad into finals, I couldn’t care less if he was the biggest mongrel unhung!

Re: Lade
Didn’t he and Adam Kingsley play in the same Port Adelaide squad? Brent Guerra was also part of that side.parkeysainter wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 2:47pmAgreed Jiggers. Its a good get. Pretty sure they all were. Great side around that era. Played under Choco Williams too.thejiggingsaint wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 2:56pmDidn’t he and Adam Kingsley play in the same Port Adelaide squad? The Saints are starting to make the right moves.

Re: Lade
Right moves?
Who the hell would even know if these are the right moves?
Lade leave the Tigers and they win a flag. He goes to Port and they go south.
I know correlation isn’t causation, but who would really know.

Re: Lade
Must be a concern as stated above - left Richmond - they win a flag with different game style. Goes to port and they recruit heavily to win now and drop away terribly in second half of the season and he is moved on 2 years after arriving.
hope not another nice guy popular with players and head coaches - we have to many of them already

Re: Lade
If this the case why are you all blaming AR for our demise - surely it is the assistant coaches fault? I will say it again he had another year to run on his contractolder saint wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 4:33pm Must be a concern as stated above - left Richmond - they win a flag with different game style. Re: Lade
Sorry don’t follow . To me Lade is strange appointment after past 2 seasons . I think the contract extension is the only thing saving AR as AFL has said cannot sack him as we are tipping so much $ inderby Street wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 5:38pmSorry I was talking about Lade having another year to run on his contract at Portderby Street wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 5:31pmolder saint wrote: ↑Sun 26 Aug 2018 4:33pm Must be a concern as stated above - left Richmond - they win a flag with different game style.
