Statement : StKilda doesn't specifically recruit players who can't kick.
Question : So why then are we the worst field kicking side in the competition?
Answer : The only logical answer is that we aren't as well drilled at disposal efficiency as the other 17 sides.
Conclusion : And that can only mean one of two things
- 1) our coaching staff are of the opinion that disposal accuracy is not a key priority compared to say getting structures right, OR
- 2) the coaching staff are inept.

Stan The Man Alves - 115 games - 48% winning rate + GF Appearance + 1 Top of the Ladder Finish
Alan Richardson - 108 games - 34% winning rate
Kenny Sheldon - 89 games - 54.5% winning rate + 2 Finals Appearances + First Finals Win for the Club in 19 years.

This pretty much highlights how absolutely bat s*** crazy the decision to give him the 2 year extension was.

Have you noticed that all the players we traded away or who left us because they weren't given a fair go, are all good kicks.

Dal, BJ, Ball, Big Boy, Stanley, Cripps, Hutchy and Lynch, with Cripps and Lynch exceptional kicks for goal.

Agree with you Jiggster re Richo, he’s had enough time, but don’t under estimate the lack of on field leadership, to say it’s been dismal would be an understatement. Geary tries his guts out from start to finish, but is too busy keeping his own end up, the rest of the senior support on field is bloody ordinary.

We really didn't go anywhere with the leaders we had since Richo has been coach- no finals, and even with Roo and Monty, still fell away badly last season.

why? he's been a member less years than my wife who knew nothing of footy until we got married. Just because you dance when we win doesn't make you a great supporter, just makes you a weak ass front runner. There are posters on here who have suffered for decades but still pay memberships year after year and certainly don't leave at half time when you are only 23 points down

Our Jigster has been relentlessly optimistic for several years now. So what he wasn’t around in the dark eighties?
He’s still seen a few Shyte years and can see what’s going wrong now.

I feel sorry for anyone who backs the coach as of now - unless they are related to Richo or have a surname like Newnes or Geary
