Votes v Dons
Same as last week. Plenty of good performers early, but most fell away appallingly.
6. Seb Ross.
4. Jack Steele. He and Seb the only blokes who gave 4 quarters.
3. Dave Armitage. Brilliant early.
2. Lewis Pierce . Quieter as the game went on, but showed a lot. Has gone from likely delist to definite retention in one game.

Think Ross might be in for another B and F.
And some posters want to trade Billings, Acres and Ross.
Then we would have f****** nothing.

Re: Votes v Dons
Billing’s being moved at quarter time was just dumb.

Like when you say Uh-Oh when you realise that our player has butchered the ball yet again, causing a turnover which you just know is going to lead to an opposition goal.

Re: Votes v Dons
My belief was buggered half Way through the season! And now we are in such a parlous state that we will go begging to every half decent free agent.
Ross, which if you review my posts, I have compared to Clint Jones, was clearly our best outside mid. His kicking was average but if he has been asked to play that role outside calling him selfish is over the top.
OH:
Ross
Steele
Membrey
Special mentions to Marshall and Pierce
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

Re: Votes v Dons
Again, a sh*thouse TEAM effort, but a few tried hard.
5. Ross- clearly had been challenged by the coach after a lacklustre season, and has done well over the last two games, though does little damage for all his disposal
4. Steele- though let his man off the leash too often
3. Struggling...maybe Membrey, though poor finishing in front of goal
2. Pierce - did well for such a long time between games
1. Freeman- didn't do a lot, but I think he will be a winner for us- and his disposals were smart and hit teammates.
Can't say much for the rest- the forward's defensive game was crap, as was the midfield, who let the Dons run wild.

Re: Votes v Dons
Rice had 3 kicks, 2 handballs, 1 tackle
But he did have a 3 frees against, plus a fantastic fumble that resulted in an Essendon goal.
On the other hand Ross had 22 kicks, 21 handballs, 4 tackles, 1 free for, 1 free against .
Your votes show how hard it is to find good Saints players.
I tried, but ran into a glottal stop.
