Skill level aint there bud, has'nt been there all year unless they are under no pressure. A top coach might get them to 8 wins but I doubt it. Richardson has definitely lost them. Got Essendon, Hawks and Roos coming up. Wonder how many of those we will win.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 04 Aug 2018 11:23pm 1. Can't kick
2. Drop marks
3. Don't man up
4. Fumble the ball.
5. Lack basic skills.
6. Can't lose an opponent.
7. Poor decision making.
8. Can't tackle.
9. Give away unnecessary free kicks.
I hate Roos but had to agree with him that Dunstan's field kicking is not AFL standard.
Also the side was poorly selected. Not enough talls.
Goddard and Marshall should have been in that team.

Rudderless or not, Lethers said Richo is coaching next year and he will have a new team of assistants. I've accepted it and can't do much about it whether I or anyone else wants him gone.
If he coaches in 2019, then I will still turn up to games and support the side.

You seem very familiar with him and very eager to believe in him as a new messiah.

Re: Richardson's Rudderless Rabble
unfortunately he was talking about a lot more saints than just dunstan - he just used his last two entries an an example of the affliction that too many saints suffer from.
but its more than our kicking - its our endeavour, enthusiasm, running, handball, kicking. none of these are afl standard at the moment. comes down to the entire group, which comes down to moral and development. it's not the players making the coach look bad, it's the other way round. put these kids in a different club environment and the majority of them would improve. that's what we need to do - create a new environment.
