Silly Comparison,
Once again people seem to think that disposals numbers alone mean anything. They don't!!
The impact a player has on a game and the role each player has within the context of the team and the gameplan is far more important than plain disposal numbers.

Trent Cotchin was averaging 27.5 disposals per game 6 years ago. It was 26+ around 4 years ago and those averages have dropped considerably because he's not interested anymore in selfish little inneffective kicks or handballs.

He has led by example in the last few years with his football and their team's gameplan both alligned. His averages are down to around 23 last year and he's tracking at under 23 this year. His impact has not diminished. He is being a true leader and captain with the way he plays.

You see the Tigers playing a completely selfless brand and they share and distribute the footy to get a result for the team. Best example was last week when there were no Tigers players with anywhere near the disposals numbers of their opposition. The other thing that Saints players can learn from the Tiger captain is that he is willing to put his body on the line at each and every opportunity.

Seb's focus and desire seems to have dropped off considerably. I'm uncertain why and I'm uncertain if the roles that his coach has asked him to play throughout this year has anything to do with this. The conversation surrounding Seb Ross this year needs to also focus on an area of his game which I have found very dissapointing in 2018. Seb has too often relied on his teammates to do the grunt work and win the contested ball. He needs to get back to the Sebby of 2016-2017 if he wants to help us improve

Jones was pick 9 in the rookie draft.

His career was stellar and deserves respect from there.
