Dustpan said it best while commentating. I feel sorry for st Kilda fans.
We got more inside fifties sure but how many were long bombs. Our scoring shots, where were they compared to giants. Were they under pressure kicks or from a long way out. Or were they from easy spots.
Too hard to watch

Dunstan was just being patronizing as usual. He actually hates the saints, bags them relentlessly and was in fact barracking for GWS.

The fat f*** really pissed me off.

I spoke to him for a while at business function a few years back, and he was interested in how the Saints were going and was pretty constructive about how we could improve..made a lot of sense.

That surprises me. Greatly. Good to hear. His barracking still pissed me off though.

Great call!!! You should put your hand up for a senior coaching gig somewhere, obviously you are a footy genius!!
2 goals 4 misses. He was surprisingly ok but as per usual couldn’t covert. He’ll be crap again soon enough and you know that.

Couldn’t care less what you think. Keep up your Richo apologist rubbish if you like but you ain’t got many mates on here.
Oh burn!! no mates on here, that really hurts, i may just go lie in a dark corner in the feotal position for a while.

The forum needs more people like BringBackMadDog.

He tells the negative nutters how it is.

60 inside 50s for 8 goals & 21 scoring shots. Has there been a more inefficient team?

Richo’s gameplan & match day coaching is a joke.
Fairly hypocritical post. To win so many inside 50’s means there has to be some part of the game plan that’s pretty efficient. Big week at Moorabbin
Oh FFS. Big week at Moorabbin. About the tenth time I’ve heard you say that. Just another version of Richardson’s “we’ll learn from that and come back strongly”. Except they don’t. You’ve swallowed the party line hook, line and sinker. Blame the players, nothing wrong with the coaching, big week coming up blah blah blah....an endless stream of deflection.
How about you get off tony 74's back ffs.
It’s my opinion. You’ve got yours. We both have every right to post within the rules.

I think some people subscribe to the ‘some animals are more equal than others’ POV

Richo, if every instinct you've ever had is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.

21 scoring shots. 21 to 22 should have been a line ball game against easily the second best team in the comp at the moment.

You don't get 21 scoring shots if the gameplan is dysfunctional.
Absolute nonsense of those entries are panicked, sideways handballs to a guy under pressure
Let’s be serious they probably don’t even take into account “junk time” entries
When the game is there to be won against a top pressure side we have been found badly wanting
THATS the measuring stick
I thought Lethleabs comments about how we “could’ve done more or acted quicker” to stem some of the bleeding against top sides in recent games was interesting
But equally , we ALL know he’s going the “sack assistants keep Alan” path which I think is ignoring the problem tbh
Actually could make matters worse IF Alan is as big a dud as I suspect, we bring in capable assistants who engineer a game plan and development program that sees us improve .....they’ll probably extend Alan for 5 years such is our Boards corporate BS incompetence
I wasn't talking entries, I was talking scoring shots specifically. Our scoring shots and entries were not panicked (have been in past weeks, but not this one), individuals just didn't finish good opportunties, because of execution or decision.

I wasn't making an assertion about the whole season, but for that game. On Saturday there was nothing wrong with the gameplan, Richo (and Coaches) coached well. The plan or coaching had nothing to do with our loss.

We were in the game up to our necks until the third quarter.
Conversion was the problem Saturday.
The question is; how do we fix it? The problem has to be between the ears.

We are ranked 12th for I50s for the season so not sure why people are pinning their hopes on that stat.

Same as last season.
