So we lost again. No big deal. I want pick 2 so I don't care if we lose. but lets be real if we had kicked straight we would have won (or come really close) It is soul crushing to do all the hard work up the back for no scoreboard impact.
Lonie played well for lonie but got pushed off the ball alot and kicked poorly at goal again. Sad thing is he was one of our best.
Steele played well against his old team and the backs were good for hte first half before they fell apart due to lack of goals from our forwards. BAttle had a bad game but he is young and learning so unfortunately this will not be his only poor game. Members was good expect for kicking at goal. then he was poor.
Sinclair is played out of position. He was elite last year in a small forward kind of role and now he is playing up back. I dont get it.
Seb Ross cant kick in play for sh#t and Weller and Newnes were pretty poor.
I cant wait for this season to be over

I'd love to get paid at work to state what reports tell me. That is not always the case. Geary was terrible, Seb is a good player and finds plenty of ball but is totally nonchalant at the moment, Blake didn't deserve a mention (and I'm an avid Blake fan).... Stats can lie

Right, so you can say someone's had a good game without ever captaining an AFL club or getting 30 disposals, but you absolutely cannot criticise someone's game without that same experience

Criticism is fine that is level headed and warranted, but its clearly not on display on this forum very much.

The personal abuse of Saints players is rubbish. Unless you have been out there on an AFL field, don't do it.

I think you might be doing something right if you are a captain of an AFL club and/or get 30 possies in a game.

this is the thing Parkey , we have a Capt who's skills are deplorable...I'm not being personal , just stating a fact. He wouldn't be Capt in any other side. So maybe you should try to change your way of thinking that someone must be doing something right if they have been given a position regardless of output. I like his en devour , not questioning his effort but until he and a few others are gone we will remain on the bottom.

You would be BUT this is STKILDA we are NOT AFL CLUB standard .not even close. to be a captain of something and make it sub standard is NOT doing the right things

Good effort - showed we can match it with the better teams, even with a makeshift backline. McKenzie keeps improving, Weller does not. Lonie & Hickey surprised me - good games. Tend to float our passes high too much, gives the forwards no chance. Got to kick into leading space.

Just got to improve our kicking, those misses really take the wind out of the sails. Should have been 4-5 goals up at half time. Encouraging signs for the remaining matches.
