Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
That explains why we’re gifting him games.
Not sure we’ll get much more than a 4th round pick for him to be honest, so I’d rather be getting games into Coffield, Paton or Freeman

Huh well there you go. The brother connection is there so it's a viable guess by Tom Brown.
I think Mav lost his mojo after his shocking ankle injury. Starting to get it back in the last few weeks.

Lol.
So 'shocking' he was playing in the VFL?
My god the Suns must be a desperate basket case.
I call BS.
Sounds like a rumour dropped by Mavs Manager desperate to get him another contract.

Bundle him up with Lonie and send them with no return address.Con Gorozidis wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 9:57amLol.

I don't think so, his value declines with each match he plays. We're not getting a good pick for him regardless so we would be much better served by taking a look at some others players on the list.

Outside of company for his brother, what could the suns possibly want from a player they delisted 5 years ago and hasn't improved since.
120+ game, 26 year old with 5 goals from 12 games this year.

Same thing our team desperately needs. Harbodied experienced players to provide balance in a very young side.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
We should sign him up on a long term deal then like we did richo.
We desperately need players who can execute the fundamentals of the game.
Last year we pumped 18 games into a woeful mav instead of putting time into long, the excuse for his form was injury… 18 months later he's even worse and still playing.
We need spuds like Mav in the team like we need a hole in the head, his continued selection has become a sick joke.
Hard body, experience, leadership, setting the tone, hard at it, strong in the contest… all words to describe a player who isn't very good at actually playing.

Mav may get us back into the third round and if I was the GC I'd be happy to have him in my squad. Obviously trains hard and set's a good example and is a capable senior player.

Mav played well against the Suns - I was hoping this might happen ( a shame because after 2016 I thought he might be captain material - now I see him as surplus and trade bait if we can get anything )

Yeah Mav. He was really strong for us. Really competitive and strong at the conteast. A real leader.Jacks Back wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 11:33am Huff'n'Puff to go? Richo will be extremely disappointed, hey con.
Hes got a hard body. Rock hard. His work in the pre-season and especially at the camps really stood out. It stood out a lot. I was very impressed.
When most of the group were resting or asleep Mav was still working his body. Working it hard.
Now we are seeing that work pay off.

Lol.
We should just recruit strippers with a taste for young men.
Really insert some hardness in to the youngsters....

You really are pathetic. I take it from your name that you are somewhere north of 50 but every topic you find a way to get this type of juvenile post into the discussionCon Gorozidis wrote: ↑Tue 24 Jul 2018 1:09pmYeah Mav. I can see you standing behind the seats on level one at the ground “ entertaining “ all around with your “witty” barracking
Pathetic

Mav at a couple of games was the only one out on the field pre-game practising goal kicking.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
If we could get Aaron Hall's left nut as a trade for Mav - I'd take it every day of the week. And GCS would probably still be paying overs.

Re: Moves under way to get Mav back to the Suns
Aaron Hall would be a decent pickup. He can play. Same as Jack Martin. We need a replacement for Koby Stevens around that age bracket. Maybe Robbo too and if they let Mav go who has been a good servant.
