What I like is that we can play Hickey and Marshall in the same side.

They have the ability to play more than one role.

Longer can play nowhere but ruck. So he becomes nothing more than a bench warmer when he needs a rest.

Longer is probably our best pure ruckman. But that isn’t enough in the modern game.

Not much of a debate. Hinckley is a much better player than longer longer is a better tap ruck. With Marshall in the team who can also play ruck; longer should not play again

Good OP ! Ruckman debate is over based on Hickey vs no-one? I was a bit disappointed with Hickey, should have dominated more vs no-one, did not even get in the best players, no goals, a lot of his tap outs went nowhere. Long way to go before the debate is over. Marshall got nearly as many hitouts as well as a couple of goals.

Give him a couple of games against actual ruckman, when the pressure is on, and see how he goes. Hopefully that game vs no-one will give him more confidence and he can reach his potential.

Heres what a ITK has leaked....we planned to keep the Monk and resign him on a 25 year contract. But on the eve of this world record club contract Mr. Bain ( then just picking cans from rubbish bins) saw a 3 yr old Jade Gresham kicking on after a Northern Knights match at South Morang.

Bain then sold every can he had gleaned and bought the time transfrigger 3 in the dick smith catalogue.
