Debut against Richmond would be a baptism by fire. Our next winnable game isn't until 4th August but he should play before then

Mr conservative hard at work again.....the season is gone Alan, stop trying to prop yourself up. Get players into the side to test them out to see if up to standard.

Freeman, Goddard are two obvious ones.

Or are we going to get creative and bring back Lonie and his Wright another game.

NO GO THIS WEEK FOR FREEMAN

"
There has been speculation he will be picked for Friday night’s match against Carlton, but he trained away from the main group on Wednesday and coach Alan Richardson suspects Freeman will not be in the 22.

“My gut feel would be that he’s probably still a week away and that’s a positive when you consider he hasn’t been able to string games together,” Richardson said before training.

“He’s certainly been able to do that (in the last few weeks) and he’s getting close, which is exciting.

“We’d love to have him out there, but we’re not going to pick him until he’s ready.” Collingwood recruited Freeman with the No.10 pick in the 2013 draft and he was traded to St Kilda two years later.

A succession of hamstring injuries have cruelled his time in the AFL system so far."

I don't want Freeman to go until he is 100% as he may only get one go at it.
Out of interest what is up with Coffield? Is he injured?

Turnovers. Turn overs that result in goals against. Lots of turnovers.

Freezer will play, he was probably running laps as part of his management plan and to keep the media pressure off him Richo has come out with the old “He’s a week away” line.

Message post bye was want to see what players can offer. Since then Joyce played ( tick) . Brown, Carlisle injured in Austin (tick) Gilbert( cross - surely Goddard)

We need to see if Freeman can play - with the luck this guys has had the decision to give him one more week will see him get an injury at Sandy ( not hammy) and miss the chance again.

i think I just worked out Richo’s selection policy.....

1. Spin the giant wheel four times, each number it lands on = players dropped this week
2. Spin the giant wheel another four times, each number it lands on = players in this week.

Unfortunately for Nathan Freeman, the wheel hasn’t landed on number 10 yet, but has stopped on number 13 a few times.

I was thinking more Chook Lotto that you spin the wheel and either a frozen or a headless chook comes out with a number

Frozen - out
Headless - in

Reckon if you asked Freezer he would say he is ready to go

It's the perfect game to debut him - it is not going to get any easier than this

Debut him and take the pressure off - give him a fkn taste and the supporters/club something to cheer about

To hell with Sports Science!!

When the club and coaches talk about tweaking things....their 'selection integrity' may need to be the very first thing they look at.
