Re: Team v Demons
Interesting.
After Simon's comments it was pretty clear that they are going to look at the younger players and probably gift them game time.

Teffy is Chairman/woman/GT of selectors. Going for brown!
*Allegedly.

Re: Team v Demons
*4 to be omitted: my guess at the quaddie is Pierce (we only ever play one ruck), Armo (MCG too large), Gilbert (gone at end of year) and Wright (gone at end of year). I also am impressed at Weller's ability to continue to be picked but against an ageing Lewis this is his opportunity. Marshall and Austin must be bemused. Surely McKenzie will play higher after the revelation of last game. If three or more goals are kicked on Brown selectors need to be re-educated, say Stalag 13.

Re: Team v Demons
Bad karma to drop guys from a winning team. To bring Gilbert in and drop Austin beggars belief- only presume Richo is looking at a run to the finals

Re: Team v Demons
i'd love to get you started big bob.
big louey's first week back after injury. bypasses frangas. jumps past lazar's 'tough love project'. (that'd be hickey. we see what you're really doing there big fella'. ) to become effectively declared our current no 2 ruckman.
that's says plenty to me. and I like what it says! (where's the button to like one's own posts on here btw?)

Re: Team v Demons
Austin has had a few goals kicked on him in recent matches. If they bring Joyce in I can see the reasoning.

Re: Team v Demons
What's happening to the other Irish lad Connellan? I thought he was a speedy type? Like we could ever use one of those.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Team v Demons
So it's most likely Geary and Gilbert for Webster and Austin. Can't wait for our all of the skillful precision rebound we'll get from Brown, Geary, Gilbert and McKenzie. Seems like the coach thinks he has a sniff of keeping his job and is going back to what (sort of) worked in '16 and '17 while putting the future on the backburner once again.

My friend the Willy supporter reckons Hickey was the only player for Sandy who looked remotely AFL grade and the rest looked pretty lost.

Re: Team v Demons
Watching Harrison Petty debut is gonna hurt
We took Claravino over him.
He's debuting in a top 4 team While claravino struggles.
Why we pick claravino? He's a local private school boy
Fair dinkum were ******!
