McKay leaving Carlton.
Just read that Andrew McKay will be leaving Carlton at season’s end. Should we consider him for a role at our club? ( putting aside his carlscum connections )

Re: McKay leaving Carlton.
He confirmed he is looking for a new role and challenge at another club. Seems like a good operator. Maybe Lethers already has him stitched up.

Re: McKay leaving Carlton.
He is a great person and a good operator (carlscum history aside), but I expect he's looking at a pretty senior role. So unless the CEO role is up for grabs or Lethlean is disappearing into the sunset, not sure what we'd do with him.
Always loyal

I’d prefer no discards
Hit up those in current successful environments
I would like to see us go after Tudor, Carracella and a MItchell as a newbie just out of the game with a good footy brain from 2 strong clubs
Get it done

Definite synergies and cross-skilling opportunities being a vet and a managing the Caaaaaarlscum list.

Re: McKay leaving Carlton.
I think he is leaving because he's taken the fall for the clubs plight... they are actually worse than us... I'd prefer someone from a sucessful club thanks

I wondered how long it would be before someone suggested we go rifling through the Blues' bin...shall we poach their list manager too?

Re: McKay leaving Carlton.
McKay is no dummy, yes he is associated with a losing club but the approach some posters have is that losers by association are no good so therefore you would not employ one person from St Kilda using that stupid reasoning.
