No not Paddy's fault, he needs to assert himself though and demand the ball.

It is all about intent, effort and hunger. Only one in the team have it and that is Carisle.
No 2 way running.
Just spectating.
Kicking to 2 on 4, 1 on 2 and no front and centre.
Basics ..... and continue to do the same over and over and over.
An absolute rabble.

I've stopped listening now, but SEN consistently calling his ignored leads (and missed frees).Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jun 2018 6:57pmNo not Paddy's fault, he needs to assert himself though and demand the ball.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 13 2018
They don't play in individual vacuums. They're part of a team with a culture, collective confidence and collective purpose. The leadership sets the boundaries for the creation of the culture. If the leadership is rubbish, impossible to create a solid culture - consequently leading to diminished confidence and lack of focus and purpose. If it gets bad enough, as it has now, the whole ship can spiral downwards and that's what we're witnessing. The container for the creation of a healthy culture is set by the leadership. Richo has failed abysmally.degruch wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jun 2018 6:54pmSorry, but I think that's laughable...they're not self-motivated by retention of their livelihood, contract value, shame and humiliation? We're not talking their inability to play set zones, we're talking football basics here.st.byron wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jun 2018 6:44pmNo dude...the passion and commitment is coached out of them. If you work for a company, you're contracted so you have to stay there......and the boss is useless and has been for quite some time..and it's an unhappy and non-cohesive workplace..are you motivated or not? After a while it eats you from the inside irrespective of the money. That's how they're playing....

I think we can forget about Lynch. Why would he want to come to this table.

They may not play in individual vaccuums...but it sure looks like it. I wouldn't be the first to note the complete lack of onfield leadership.st.byron wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jun 2018 7:01pmThey don't play in individual vacuums. Agree its a bit tough to blame Richardson for schoolboy mistakes out on the field. If you are game have a look at the replay it will make you puke.

The entire mental framework for the team is set by the leadership. It's totally about Richardson and the leadership above him.derby Street wrote: ↑Sat 16 Jun 2018 7:10pmAgree its a bit tough to blame Richardson for schoolboy mistakes out on the field. Any chance this is a revolt? Have the playing group made a decision that they would prefer Richo loses his gig?
