An Easy Draw is it Possible?
If StKilda finish bottom 6 we are expected to receive a easy draw in 2019 as other clubs in the past have done take note of Collingwoods this year. But is this possible for a club like StKilda to achieve? Who will the AFL to send to Port, Perth twice down to Geelong Hawks in Tassie Brisbane twice? I doubt the AFL can conjure a draw as easy as the one Collingwood has been given this season.

Re: An Easy Draw is it Possible?
Hopefully we're too bad to risk sending to China.
We'll be bottom six, but for us that means we're fodder to feed easy wins for clubs like Melbourne ad Essendon whom the AFL want to play in finals. The whole 6-6-6 malarky is just that. Once the afl throws in the marquee matchups they abuse the flexibility in the rule to disadvantage clubs like ours and favour the big clubs.
Being bottom 6 the best result would be no top six and one mid six team. We will get 1 top six and 2 mid six teams - guaranteed. Leaving 2 games against fellow cellar dwellers.
I would predict those games as - Melbourne (if in top six), Essendon (if mid) and Port (if we go to China), Carlton and Brisbane.
The rule:
Clubs ranked 13-18 on the 2015 ladder will have either no return meeting or a maximum of one return meeting with clubs ranked 1-6. They will have a minimum of one or a maximum of two return meetings with clubs ranked 7-12. They will have a minimum of two and a maximum of three return meetings with other bottom six clubs.

We have comfortably had the hardest draw so far this year. It gets a little better in the second half but still tough
