Votes v Swans
Tonight it is a case of least worst, not best.
5. Jimmy Webster. I think our only 4 quarter performer, probably the only guy who won his position.
3. Josh Battle. Particularly in the first half, showed excellent attack on the footy. Lovely goal at the end.
1. Nick Coffield. Quiet early, but kept his head up and shows poise with the ball.
1. Bailey Rice. As with Coffield, worked into the game, when his head really could have dropped.
1. Jack Sinclair. Better early than late, but good ball use made him one of our least worst.
1. Tom Hickey . Beaten in his position , but far from disgraced. Certainly in my opinion a far better contributor than the vast majority of the team.

Re: Votes v Swans
5 Webster
4 Sinclair
3 Rice
Dunstan tried hard. Lots of 2nd & 3rd efforts.
Ross burnt the ball a bit but at least got it.
Savage soft & can't defend, just continually bombs it long.
Weller - no good .
McCartin - needs to kick the gettable goals - should have had 3. Also needs to hold his marks - often spills what should be a simple mark. Did run and lead a lot better last night.
Lonie - can't stick a tackle and not a threat, (Billings out of form is heaps better than Lonie)
Hickey soft - no threat forward,
Steele out of form and not even a tackling machine like he used to be,
Phillips burns the ball and pace is an issue - but is young and will improve,
Newnes disappointing and picks and chooses when to go hard,
Gresham too inconsistent,
Steven out of form, finds it hard to shake a hard tag but this has always been an issue,
Coffield and Clarke are struggling with the physicality and pace , probably playing before they are ready. Our development hasn't helped them - hopefully they become good players and we don't stuff them up.
Membery - poor defensively -they ran off him all night

Re: Votes v Swans
I was watching the game a bit closer than you by the sound of it. Sounds like mumbo jumbo to me... " most tackles by a mid" what kind of garbage is that? How effective were the tackles? 11cp.....haha got his hands on it in a pack, handballed out to the opposition and then they kicked a goal. Did he kick any goals, did he save any? How many contested marks did he take? Did he hit up the forwards on the chest with a bullet like pass from one of those"contested cp's
Give a decent answer and stop talking rubbish.

Re: Votes v Swans
haha. you were wrong. just accept it and stop blathering. you don't need to give him votes but if others do then don't have a whinge. it's childish.chico2001 wrote: ↑Mon 11 Jun 2018 8:24pm I was watching the game a bit closer than you by the sound of it.
