Won't get killed from me on this one, Paddy has been OK!!!!!The_Dud wrote: ↑Sat 09 Jun 2018 10:44pmI know I’m going to get killed for this, but I’m not too unhappy with Paddy’s game tonight. Pity next week is at Metricon, would have been nice to see another win live in Melbourne.

Am really having a go at Elshaug. The whole steaming pile that is Richardson and Elshaug need to be moved on. Epic fail.The_Dud wrote: ↑Sat 09 Jun 2018 10:44pmI know I’m going to get killed for this, but I’m not too unhappy with Paddy’s game tonight. Josh Battle already a better player than McCartin.
He is only 19 years old.

That is 10 good young players we can start to build a decent squad around.

Richo went back to the box at some point in the 3rd I think, was that the first time he’s done that since the boundary coaching experiment?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 12 2018
Richardson will claim the positive of "winning "the last quarter .
Could clearly see him riding it home in the box.
Even though the Swans virtually put the cue in the rack.

His 'good bloke' & 'positive' persona has conned enough people along the way to give him 7 years of AFL senior coaching contracts and probably about $4 million.
Why not keep up the charade? If people are dumb enough to keep falling for it - that is their problem.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 12 2018
Agree - I would include Sinclair as well. is there any chance of recruiting Usain Bolt? A fair few to cull as well - we will never improve with some who are getting games - Savage, Weller , Lonie etcCon Gorozidis wrote: ↑Sat 09 Jun 2018 10:51pm Battle

Yep, your probably right I probably expect too much from him.
But we may have to think about moving him on as he’d have the most trade value, a bit like Dal and Goddard when they left.

The problem is there is no talent to work with.Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 09 Jun 2018 9:39pm Like Longer would be doing any better. But it would help if he had some back up. The whole coaching staff need to go, as well as a lot of the administration.
Start with a new captain as well.
How about instead of the whole coaching staff going, we make the recruitment staff accountable.
Someone told Trout that guy McCartin is going to be a player, but Trout got the wrong brother.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 12 2018
it's always worse after a decent performance the week before. it takes so little to forget how hopeless we are. we saw all this renewed optimism after the giants draw, and again after last week. some were even turning back to backing richo through this. cannot do. we are lost and bogged in the swamps of despair and he drove the bus there.
