Gresham trying to snap from the goalsquare, somehow managing to kick backwards away from goal. Paddy marks the ball which went about 10m and kicks a point from the goalsquare. Just a comedy of errors that summed our season.
Number one draft pick right there
I know I’m going to get killed for this, but I’m not too unhappy with Paddy’s game tonight. Should have kicked 4, just like the whole team should have kicked 13.6, not 6.13
Won't get killed from me on this one, Paddy has been OK!!!!!

Pity next week is at Metricon, would have been nice to see another win live in Melbourne.

Gold Coast didn’t take a single mark inside 50 today, so I am pencilling us in for a W

Paddy should play up the field as a link man for a while

Am really having a go at Elshaug. The whole steaming pile that is Richardson and Elshaug need to be moved on. Epic fail.

Josh Battle already a better player than McCartin.

He is only 19 years old.

Richo went back to the box at some point in the 3rd I think, was that the first time he’s done that since the boundary coaching experiment?

Richardson will claim the positive of "winning "the last quarter .
Could clearly see him riding it home in the box.
Even though the Swans virtually put the cue in the rack.

Yep. And why not?

His 'good bloke' & 'positive' persona has conned enough people along the way to give him 7 years of AFL senior coaching contracts and probably about $4 million.

Why not keep up the charade? If people are dumb enough to keep falling for it - that is their problem.

Agree - I would include Sinclair as well. is there any chance of recruiting Usain Bolt? A fair few to cull as well - we will never improve with some who are getting games - Savage, Weller , Lonie etc

Yep, your probably right I probably expect too much from him.

But we may have to think about moving him on as he’d have the most trade value, a bit like Dal and Goddard when they left.

Start with a new captain as well.
The problem is there is no talent to work with.
How about instead of the whole coaching staff going, we make the recruitment staff accountable.

Someone told Trout that guy McCartin is going to be a player, but Trout got the wrong brother.

it's always worse after a decent performance the week before. it takes so little to forget how hopeless we are. we saw all this renewed optimism after the giants draw, and again after last week. some were even turning back to backing richo through this. cannot do. we are lost and bogged in the swamps of despair and he drove the bus there.
