Sorry didn’t realise contracts meant something in AFL. Pretty sure their time only value in any industry is a pay out.

True. He is finished. Dead coach yelling. Hopeless. The flogging we had to have to regenerate. Half a dozen players have to go as well. If he is not gone the Board and CEO are negligent in the extreme. If Alan is half the character some say he will resign now.

Would like him to go now and see if we can find someone that can get the best out of some players.

Regardless if its the right or wrong call, the club will be forced to make a statement and thats usually the coach. Football clubs are either in premiership contention or they sell hope, and we have neither. Its sad, but the loss of faith by members and sponsors has been evident for a number of months but tonight the mood felt different. Sadly, i think many will simply not come again and i think St Kilda's long term viability is in serious danger. That said, sacking the coach probably wont help unless we have a messiah in the wings (which we dont). I just dont think the supporters will go for another untried coach, with the possible exception of Nick or Lenny.
