What is still a worry from this audio is that his cardiologist is still unclear what caused the heart problem and there was no mention of whether taking the rest of the year off will help the situation or not.

Sounds more promising than we were beginning to think. If it was viral, and there is a good chance it was, he will be back playing next year.

Yeah maybe but it's still a bit confusing given that the cause is still undiagnosed
There is obviously no pre-existing structural problems
So that really only leaves viral or metabolic causes
Some viruses can really do a number on your heart and linger a long time
But even so it's only speculation (?) that might have been the cause so I'm still a little concerned they are content to write off the season.

electrical activity in the heart can be totally erratic and no one knows why. It may never happen again to Dylan but no one knows. I say play him, if it happens again..game over.

She now has an implant to synchronise a ventricle and an implanted automatic defibrilator just in case.
