Re: Team vs Tigers
So who gets injured attempting to play 2nd ruck?
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Team vs Tigers
Interested to know who are the match ups for Austin & Carslile if they both play back.

Joyce & Patton emergency’s. I guess both will debut soon?
Jack Roo is playing which is good. I don’t want them taking us easy.
What’s the deal with Coffield being managed?
Cut the BS.
You’re either injured or omitted.
Omitted can be for many reasons. Cut out managed FFS!

Shame about Coffield being managed but not a lot of surprises although I also hate Lonie being in the team

Re: Team vs Tigers
I’m excited about the ins.
Think DMac is lucky but am really pleased to see him get a crack. Hope he rises to the occasion
There’s very little hope of winning - let’s hope these kids show something and the team has a bit of cohesion

Re: Team vs Tigers
Who's taller Lonie or Higgins? Who weighs more? Should Lonie line up on him? If he's not impacting in the forward line, then the coach needs to seriously think about moving him onto Higgins whenever Higgins is on the field
If Jack Riewoldt plays, who lines up on him? If it's not Carlisle, then Carlisle better not leave White or Austin or Webster by themselves in marking duals against Riewoldt. If the Tigers isolate Dusty or Caddy, again the question will be who is strong enough to take these guys on 1 on 1?
I think Hickey is going to have a breakout game and star for us against their rucks. The Tiger boys will have to look to be roving to Hick's tapouts if they want to win the clearances.
A lot of other questions with Rance and their midfield probably bouncing back after a loss last week. Will our boys be able to keep up with them and be ahead for at least the first half. Last week against Collingwood we fell away in the 3rd. Hopefully our boys hunt the footy and hunt the opposition for the full 4 quarters.

Re: Team vs Tigers
Seems like a good balance- but regardless of who comes in, a lot of our guys just need to go up a rung in intensity and attack on the contest.

Re: Team vs Tigers
Newnes played forward last week. Where they are named does not indicate where they will play. So no need to complain, yet.desertsaint wrote:i'll complain - get newnes out of the wing and put sinclair there.

Re: Team vs Tigers
Good ins and outs.
I like the selections. Bloody very young side so its not all bad despite the s*** season thus far. I hope Austin does a number on Riewoldt. Or he could get 8 kicked on him...please no. That would be devastating.

Rather a young side to see who stands up
Don’t care about win/loss now seasons gone use it to weed out the duds

Re: Team vs Tigers
Every club uses the terminology of being managed. Omitted can mean many things managed means being rested.saintspremiers wrote: ↑Thu 24 May 2018 7:51pm http://m.afl.com.au/news/teams/show-tea ... R201801410

Re: Team vs Tigers
Coffield is a 19 y0 kid playing in his first year, he has played 7 games in a row, give him a week off to rest and then bring him back. I rather he get a week off now rather than he break down and miss a chunk of the seasonsaintspremiers wrote: ↑Thu 24 May 2018 7:51pm http://m.afl.com.au/news/teams/show-tea ... R201801410
