Re: Blake Acres
He is out for 4-6 weeks with the groin. Buggar!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Re: Blake Acres
So what other talented 75-80kg exceptionally talented young mid can we start playing in the ruck.
I mean since we are in the business of destroying careers.. Who is next?
Coffield maybe? I mean he is young enough, we could wreck his career before it really starts.

Re: Blake Acres
I really don't understand why Battle isn't getting a game. Kicked 2.3 in the magoos last weekend. Could have just as easily been 5.0.
Play him and Membrey as the two forwards with Marshall being the third tall relieving Hickey in the ruck and therefore sparing some other mid being chewed up and spat out.
Makes sense to me.

Well that would have been a positive move that I’d have supported. He may not be ready, I guess, but there’s one way to find out.

Re: Blake Acres
Battle isn't ready yet, that is the reason. I am happy that we are blooding more players, 4 this year and possibly more to come so it looks good for the future. That combined with a high draft pick we could be average again in 2019

Re: Blake Acres
Stop fooling yourselves...he is nowhere near the level of Fyfe or even Cripps for that matter and highly unlikely to be so. He lacks pace, footy smarts and the skill level that those guys have.
