Awful colour and display scheme. Can't find options to change it in display preferences.
Also appears the option to view new posts is gone. The link is there but doesn't show any results.
Hopefully it's currently a work in progress.

Sorry for the multiple posts, rookie mistake, (didn't think it worked), thanks to the mods for upgrade, not a knock, but very hard to follow, but I'm sure we will get used to it over time (hopefully)!!!!!

+1, great upgrade but please expose the theme options or switch to a different theme as this one is quite hard to read (contrast is all off)

Great to be up and running again I was a bit alarmed to log on a couple of days ago and get a message that I was permanently banned Not quite my style!! Hopefully the forum refresh will coincide with a refresh of our form on Satday!!

At the very bottom of the screen there's a link -initially "black" style from Arty. Click the "black" and it looks like you can change the style to whatever you'd rather.

Think that's just a link to phpBB bulletin board - you can view demos of different styles, but there's no option on this site to change - perhaps the admin need to download extra styles and add them to display options?
If so, add Absolution style please. And the native white and blue on the phpBB board.

User selected themes are a no brainer and should be installed
At the very least phpbb default should be availwble

Our 1.2 million posts took half a day to migrate into the new version of the software.

Bells and whistles still to be added.

5861 users of 7272 users were using the style Extreme Dark Red by Vinnie having chosen to switch from the default Saintsational style (1362 users) with a few remaining users split between 4 other styles.

Extreme Dark Red by Vinnie wasn’t available for this version so we picked something similar. Not exactly the same of course.

We shall add some styles to switch to but not all of the old versions are available for this neeer version of the forum software.

By the way these phpBB “experts” based overseas say they have never worked on a forum this big and active before and that in itself has presented some unique challengers!

phpBB aren't going to get their top notch experts to work on this site, so possibly.
There are many phpBB boards with hundreds of thousands of members and posts far into the millions.
