Re: Richardson needs to walk ... simple
He's making a huge amount of money from his employer and has been offered an extension by the CEO.
No way known he'll quit. The money is simply too much. It's better than 98% of jobs out there and he will never, ever work as a senior coach again, so he won't quit now.
In the non-performance culture we've cultivated, it won't be seen as a big issue. Just a relaxing lifestyle for all concerned.

We don't have any quality tall forwards on our list, very hard to find, we'll have to continue to play tall plodders,
Wish we had some quality small forwards to compensate.
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

didn't see any passion in any of the interactions with the players - imagine if we were coached by one of the Scott brothers?????

Just too predictable and easy for opposition coaches to coach against.
Not going anywhere though. Imagine how ridiculous the club would after having only just extended his contract.

Re: Richardson needs to walk ... simple
We just lost comfortably to an absolutely terrible team with 13 players who had played less than 50 games. Richo seems to think we're a young side but we only had 6 under 50.
I've been on the fence until this point but it really is time for Richo to do the decent thing and walk. Negotiate a reasonable payout and maybe he'll still be able to get a decent senior assistant role somewhere else before his reputation is completely destroyed with more pathetic performances.

11 points to half time. What a disgrace.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

And it's not like we were playing one of the top 6 teams. This was against a team that we should be beatingJacks Back wrote:11 points to half time. What a disgrace.

That’s a really worrying stat.
Plus North and Hawthorn seem to be thereabouts after no rebuild - or very little of a one. We do the whole process and we are pure, unadulterated s***.
I felt sorry for Richo tonight. He looks like he’s under a lot of pressure.

You would never walk.
Club needs to get their act together, how can a season be over after 8 rounds - what an absolute disgrace.

This is embarrassing. Freo are avg and as bad as our fwd structure was we could've won.
We're better than this.. richo on the boundary line is the best think I've seen him do..
Unfortunately newnes and billings will get yet another game..

I think the fabric of our club has many issues in it and its not just the recruiters and players.
