Are you on acid? For one thing Long has a broken foot so he's "dropped" for the next 10 weeks.bassoon wrote:Hope the kid does well. Under Richo, good for a few games, and then we'll want him dropped. Not good enough. Why is Long being dropped. Why is Sinclair not back in the team. Why did Acres get dropped in the first pace. Why is Billings in the side??? Don't understand, it's all wrong. Free to beat us 50 to 20. We'll call it a good loss. I just don't understand!!!

Maybe he’s spelt his moniker incorrectly “lewdogs”, and it’s ‘buffoon’ and not ‘bassoon”.???lewdogs wrote:Are you on acid? Obviously poster doesn’t follow the Saints that closely if, he didn’t know that Acres was out last week with ‘groin soreness’ and that Long has a fracture in his foot. Also I think he/she was the poster who a couple of weeks ago had complained about Rowan Marshall being dropped, when he had suffered concussion the week before. Duuuurh!!!!
Bassoon or Buffoon I’m confused. If he’s Bassoon, I think he had best play his instrument a little more quietly, when he’s getting his info incorrect all the time.

Re: Phillips to Debut!!!!!
Great game by young Ed.
Commentators said that Phillips collected the most possessions in a game for a first timer since Brodie Atkinson in 1993.
That's 25 years.

I don't remeber Brodie Atkinson - so just looked him up online. Says he played two games for us, won the nab rising star in his first game, among our best in the second - then delisted at the end of the season!saynta wrote:Great game by young Ed.

Got Brownlow votes in that game too.
Just got homesick I think.
Adelaide picked him up years later but only for one year.1996 I think. He only played a handful of games for them
Had huge wraps on him when he first came to the Saints.

Re: Phillips to Debut!!!!!
From saints.com
"Running machine Ed Phillips has put together one of the best debut performances Saints fans have seen in recent years.
The 20-year-old amassed 24 touches, the most of any Saint on debut for 25 years, including seven contested possessions, operating at a 79% disposal efficiency rating.
Add five tackles to that performance, and the Saints’ third-highest possession winner on the night would be unlucky to lose the senior spot he’s so patiently waited for."

Probably struggled with the difference in professionalism between the SANFL and AFL . Enjoyed the perks of being a footballer a little too much from what i was toldsaynta wrote:freely wrote:I don't remeber Brodie Atkinson - so just looked him up online. Five tackles from the first gamer.
Hear that Six tackle Jack?
This kid could be anything.

Yeah like a bunch of A graders are smashing the door down to get in.
He'll be unlucky to lose the captaincy more like.
Nee!
