Close enough...Richo said probably 2 weeks.

Unfortunately, I can see Lonie pulling on his boots for Long. Not sure who replaces Paddy, probably Marshall as Battle hasn't excelled in the VFL recently.
Maybe his baloon was a bit deflated when his bag of goals didn't earn him a call up.

he could be the type who lifts when playing with better footballers.

I would give him a go.
Who and what bag of goals?????
Battle, not Lonie.

If we don't have the balls to drop "name" players how about we at least try them in a different position? Switch Billings with Newnes - i know Newnes isn't a renowned goal kicker but who exactly in our team is?
Play Acres on the ball, move Carlisle forward and give Gresh more stints in the middle. What exactly have we got to lose? Carlisle cracking the s playing fwd? Pretty sure he's already starting to do that carrying the team in defense!
I can't believe one of our leaders has 4 tackles for the year. What an example he is setting! The players must just get so inspired by that. At least if we put him fwd and he snagged a goal he might lift, and if he doesn't well his confidence is shot anyway, so again what do we have to lose!?
Make some changes Richo, if you hadn't noticed what we're currently doing isn't working. When your club is getting creamed at least look like you're trying.

Sounds like a hard surface over there and should suit faster running players- but we haven't got any apart from Steven have we?

100% I can see this happening. Coach Beige is odds on to select Lonie for another futile attempt at being an effective AFL senior footballer

Fantastic. More Gilbert; Less White. That seems like a ripper plan for the future. Leave the room and give yourself an uppercut ST KFC

So with no Battle and McCartin out who comes in to help Membrey? Do we only leave Marshall in (not really a forward) or does 8cres come in to play forward (i.e. out of position)?

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
