What about those socks???
In this day and age of multiple clash strips and all the politics that go with it, how on earth are Geelong allowed to wear those socks against an opponent whose primary colour is orange??
If you've spent much time on the bottom of packs you'll understand just how important socks can be. At an elite level, where every little detail counts, its a big oversight. Sure is hard to take these guys seriously sometimes.

I've been at the bottom of packs more than the Ace of Spades and I reckon I have looked at a bloke's socks as much as his bum.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that)

Never hand balled or tapped out towards a team mates sock colour? OKminneapolis wrote:I've been at the bottom of packs more than the Ace of Spades and I reckon I have looked at a bloke's socks as much as his bum.

That’s why GWS had 59% kicking effiency!
(Although the dumb arse channel 7 commentators kept on rabbiting on about 46% blissfully unaware that stats do
Change throughout a game!)

Nooooo... Thats because GWS saw how effective our game style has been recently, and so decided to model their game on the Saints to give them the best possible chance of a win.saintspremiers wrote:Ah!!portosaint wrote:Never hand balled or tapped out towards a team mates sock colour? Re: What about those socks???
That's a fair comment Porto but I never had to find my teammate's socks. I always went for their knees.portosaint wrote:Never hand balled or tapped out towards a team mates sock colour? My coach was very meticulous and perhaps ahead of his time.
At the end of every session we always had 10 minutes of Teammate Knee Recognition Drills. We did it at the end of the session so we could perform these important skills while fatigued.
Our coach stressed that the results of these drills could be the difference between a win and a loss in a tight game.
We had to be Bi-Ocular. The coach knew that in an important play that the player with the ball might already have one eye closed from an errant or perhaps intentional opposition elbow.
I hope this explains my original post.

Possibly not, but that's balanced by our effort down at Hillbilly Park starting to look a bit better.saynta wrote:Our draw against GWS not looking so good now.
