Re: whats the latest on Bailey Rice
I think he is actually pretty close to a call up.
Would probably expect to see him in the first half of the year if he can put a couple more together at Sandy.

Even if he doesn’t play a game this year, expect him to be signed up until the end of 2020

Was really close last year for a call up would have thought he would have come in when Webster was suspended last year.fingers wrote:Anyone know?
I haven't tracked him and haven't heard him mentioned as a possible inclusion anytime.
TIA
Then injured himself at sandy so that sort of stopped his good run.
Has come on in leaps and bounds in terms of attitude since he started just needs the reward.
He’ll no doubt leave if he doesn’t get game time and possibly move onto Carlton where he’ll get games flourish and we’ll be left with egg on our faces.

He can kick well. No room for that type in our 22.

Rest assured though that we’ve really, comprehensively ensured that Newnes can’t kick, that Gilbo and Armo are ready to retire, that Lonie isn’t up to being a FP, and that Billing’s + Gresh are out of form.
We don’t really know if Rice can play or how much better White could get... maybe give Gilbo another crack at the ruck though Maybe Billing’s will kick a bag from HF this week.

If they don’t try others out they’ll never know.

Jeez Louise, he was recruited three years ago and still hasn't played a single game. You would think he was chronically injury prone like Nathan Freeman.

Re: whats the latest on Bailey Rice
Yet we have minchington, pierce and Lonie still on the list lmao.
Hard for a kid to get a go when you still have players like Lonie who get brought in, Gilbo and armo.
Really looking towards the future is richo, usual garbage without substance from that fool.

Re: whats the latest on Bailey Rice
Bailey Rice is too slow to make it as an AFL player, he is a good VFL player and nothing more from what I saw yesterday at Box Hill.
He tackles hard, but his much vaunted kicking is a myth.
He doesn't even kick with penetration.
Did anyone see him fail to make the distance after the final siren from within 40m in the left forward pocket?

its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!
