Re: Carlisle free kick
Irrelevant irony - how many goals were lost because Nick had countless passes to him at perfect yorker length. Now he has retired the passes are too high. Mercy.

Rooey retired with the longest, most flexible hamstrings in the competition. Now we need someone with Inspector Gadget arms. One extreme to the other. Hopefully, we'll meet somewhere in the middle soon!Yorkeys wrote:Irrelevant irony - how many goals were lost because Nick had countless passes to him at perfect yorker length. Yep.
Someone on here said that if one of the power teams were involved, then the free would have been paid.. and a identical one was.
Re: Carlisle free kick
Exactly, St.Peter. We should get together. We might be able to start our own group, or has that already been done?StPeter wrote:Yes looked exactly the same!

Re: Carlisle free kick
Have only seen it on TV, definite free kick in my opinion.
I have noticed infringements get paid if the ball is in your hands or if it stops you marking.
In the replay the ball had gone out of Jake's hands and was out of his reach when the infringement was made.
Wrong call but one they get consistently wrong.
Did anyone see the holding the ball not paid to Daniher against Collingwood in the last 1/4 of the Anzac day game, worst decision I've ever seen.

Re: Carlisle free kick
About 20 seconds later in GWS playing time, they get a free in the goal square when one of the Lions drags a trailing arm gently over the shoulder of the Giant who was already out of the contest. Not a marking contest by the way.
MUCH softer than the one they didn’t pay to Carlisle.
