Where does a win this weekend leave us?
If we carry last week’s form and win against the hawks, where does it leave our season?
Is there a chance of getting it back on track with 2 wins a draw and 3 losses
Or does the horrific nature of those 3 losses leave us in the Poo?
I reckon a win against the hawks helps but doesn’t necessarily get us out of jail.
A follow up win the following week against the dees (yes the mystical 2 in a row) and I’d argue the sins of the first few rounds could be forgotten
Obviously a loss of any kind this weekend (especially a poor one) and we are stuffed!

We can win the next 4 games (Hawks, Demons, Freo, Pies)*
*If we play like we did against the Giants and if we can convert better

And if the opposition kick as badly as the Giants.Jacks Back wrote:We can win the next 4 games (Hawks, Demons, Freo, Pies)*

No it’s better to ignore that fact and the reality GWS had plenty of scoring chances to put us out of the game.SydneySainter wrote:And if the opposition kick as badly as the Giants.Jacks Back wrote:We can win the next 4 games (Hawks, Demons, Freo, Pies)*

It’s easier just to focus on the Carlisle incident and say “wees weres robbed” and dismiss the fact we hadn’t led since the early part of the third term

The Giants kicking was poor but keep in mind they had 5 rushed behinds to our 1. So it wasn't much worse than ours.
And anyway you look at it, we stuck with a quality team for most of the game and were able to pile on three goals to nothing in the last ten minutes to almost snatch it.

Win leaves us well and truly in the hunt.
I think 12 and a half wins could make the 8.
A loss and the season is basically over in terms of finals hopes.

A win this week leaves us 2 points behind where we should have been, and still in the hunt.
A loss means we have to have 2 “unexpected” wins to get back on track.
If we lose, I think we seriously need to make a call on which of our kids are going to be part of our future and start investing in them. Too many guys have been on the list for 3 or more years that don’t look like becoming established players any time soon.
I also hope they have a go at completely reinventing the game plan. I’d rather lose by 5 or 6 goals but scoring 100+ points a game in an attacking style rather than lose a close game playing a defensive style scoring less than 10 goals a game. At least give us some kind of enjoyment.

Win leaves us exactly where we are now. Stuffed.
Losing to North was the season right there.
Can't expect to lose by 10 goals.to a bottom 8 side and then play finals.
Our season died that day.
Gws Suk at Etihad/Melbourne
They shouldve smashed us. We can't keep.upthat pressure every round.
Hawks will smash us

Probably a game and a half out of the eight.
