White unlucky to miss, and Sav.
The only person I thought had a genuinely crap game was Acres, who lack of endevour at times cost us a goal or two.

29 possessions and a "GENUINELY crap game"? Hmm.

Acres. 11 score involvements. 11 contested possessions. 2nd equal most touches on ground for both sides.

Ha! So you must have been one of Websters supporters when he pulled off a 29 possession game and was then dropped.saynta wrote:. He was one of our better players.Trev from the Bush wrote:degruch wrote:1. Steven

Re: Votes v Giants
5. Stuv ( There is no doubt that he is A grade - too many bog's not to call it)
4. Longy ( Speed and attack at the footy and at the contest was phenominal. He was the spark we needed)
3. Ross. ( get's the job done, works hard, can't ignore his impact)
1. Paddy ( His goals seemed to inspire his team mates - loved it when he missed an easy one and then very soon after went the banana which took him back to his junior days of playing the game naturally. He marked strongly and let loose after that with the set shot from 50 to get us within a point. I thought Paddy tackled ferociously and his improved pressure and his running is a big plus for the team)
1. Coffield.
1. White.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we were playing finals, I'd have Mav Weller in Saints best 22 without a shadow of a doubt. He makes us stand tall. Great team effort today

Re: Votes v Giants
Acre's did have a few turnovers, but always because he tried to go forward, I love that he just refuses to take an easy backwards or sideways option. Blake seems to always looks for the offensive option.degruch wrote:

Other than his 11 score involvements, contested possessions and ground cover, it was his beautiful handball to Steven that gave us a chance to win the game.
I wish we had a few more players that could have a crap game like that.
But votes.

You have been very vocal about the Longer/Hickey.
Glad you can give Hickey'sgame the credit it deserves!

Re: Votes v Giants
That handball was sublime. Looks simple, but lots of players struggle with it. A much underrated skill when used offensively like that one. Mind you, Longy did well to get it to Blake.Ape_Man wrote:Acre's did have a few turnovers, but always because he tried to go forward, I love that he just refuses to take an easy backwards or sideways option.
