Great effort. Showed some heart and now set a standard. Long and White excellent. Love the hardness around the contest. There will be some sore GWS boys this week.

Little bit flat as always with a draw, but let's be honest, that was a billion times more enjoyable to sit through than the last 4 rounds.

Wish we took our chances, but the young blokes definitely showed enough to think that it's not all doom and gloom this season.

If we had played like this the last 3 weeks we would have won at 1 if not 2 of those games. But that's it for criticism, great effort, not quite the result we wanted but I will take the 2 points. Hickey is clearly our best ruck. Paddy showed good glimpses if what he can do. Ben Long impressive, the two draft picks were great. White was good, Dunstan is a class act and so on.

Funny how every other stadium hasn't got a roof and no one complains about a star that's been there for billions of years.

Long was huge in that last quarter... Positive that all our good players were youngsters, something we haven't had in a long long time. Big hats off to McCartin also came up big with 3 mins left. Shame Jake the snake couldn't glove that last one.. I still think 10 goals kicked in perfect conditions is not good enough and won't win you most games. Effort was there however

Brandon White did well. Gave Toby Greene a horrid afternoon.
Longy had 8 tackles. Huge.

We drew with the ladder leaders - they drew with the 16th placed team - we took the points in a judges decision

At the end of the season - it may make a difference to us playing finals - but if we had been caned in this game - there would be no chance of us playing in finals - big step up by the players today - proud of the boys

Now - use this as a stepping stone and make it count v Hawthorn next week!!!!

How does a 199 game player where the Wong studs and gift two goals to the opposition. We could have been 3 goals up at half time and our most experienced player does that.

Think he had boots with screw-ins on.

I was sure the saw on the screen at half time the frees were 12 to us - 8 to them - now I check AFL 16 to us - 17 to them - so that quarter 4 for us - 9 to them in a quarter that saw them back in the game - am I wrong???
