Still absolutely no forward system, method..or anything. Need a coach. Sinclair can't tackle for nuts, Gresham too slow. Gilbert and Geary are very ordinary, and their disposal is horrible.

Good on us for having a crack and getting in to a scrap but our skill levels and coaching still well below average.
8 goals from 60 inside 50s is horrific.

Weller, good goal.
They are still having a red hot crack. Regardless of the result the boys turned up today; kicking into the forward line the only downside,
At the moment, being a Saints forward worst gig in footy, a bit like being a door-to-door Mormon. If the Saints forward gets a set shot at goal, he is like the Mormon who gets invited inside. There first thought is "well, what do I do now?"
And a great goal by Ben Long sets the example of backing you own ability!

Well done saunters, a lot to be proud of. Gives me a lot of hope and excitement for the future. No matter what the doomsayers on this site continue to spout, we have a good group of young kids.

Long was huge in that last quarter... Positive that all our good players were youngsters, something we haven't had in a long long time. Big hats off to McCartin also came up big with 3 mins left. Shame Jake the snake couldn't glove that last one.. I still think 10 goals kicked in perfect conditions is not good enough and won't win you most games. Effort was there however

Agree. Great effort and big improvement - just need to add a bit of poise especially the last disposals going forward, which the top teams have.
