This weeks watch list
The axe has Been flying the last 2 weeks and safe to assume another loss will result in more changes.
Who are the players on the cusp of being dropped if they don’t improve this week ?
My watch list for this week
* Paddy - really hasn’t got near it so far and needs to get his hands on the ball
* Newnes - sprayed it as much as Armo, so needs to lift
* White - kid gets another chance but his last game was not up to standard. 2 in a row and it’s back to Sandy.
* Hickey - we all know Longer is the preferred ruckman and if Billy has a good game at Sandy they will be looking for any excuse to bring him back in
* Lonie - pushed his way back in but there is a big gap between his good and his bad

I'd add.......
Billings......No impact at all so far.
Gresham...bit better than Billings but needs to do more.

Re: This weeks watch list
Add Brown to that list.
The flip of that is who is next in line:
Rice - needs to be given a chance at some stage or risks being a Tom Lynch - off to Carlton and becomes a good player elsewhere
Battle- Unlucky IMO not to come in this week.

You my man have just said what I’ve been saying all along about Rice.older saint wrote:Add Brown to that list.

Will get fed up and want to leave if things don’t improve, fancy getting a 2 year extension and not getting a game.
Very smart footy brain and great by foot.

Battle can take a mark.
Important if you are bombing the ball in long.
Did the AFL introduce a minimum quota on indigenous players while wasn't looking.

Stop the chimpanzee from scoring too many goals.
Doesn't matter if he gets zero possessions himself.

With Bruce now injured, it has opened up a big opportunity for the Battle Axe. He'll be feeling Battlesick about not being selected for tomorrow.
