Lonie is not good enough.
I dont care if he kicks ten for Sandringham.
He is not good enough at AFL level.

Just have to reward Lonie, no matter how much people hate him… make it count son.
Long can run around at Sandy and maybe there he can get his hands on the ball and lay tackles that create turnovers.
Just cause you are indigenous and have famous family does not entitle anyone to a game.
Oops sorry, we have a Labor state government (very generous with my money), indigenous have entitlements.

Seriously Curly, get some help for your persecution thing. 3 other Melbourne clubs play Geelong at Geelong. We’ve had 3 in a row at our home ground. It’s a Geelong home game. When was the last time we played down there?CURLY wrote:Be nice to be looked after by the AFL and not be playing this game at Geelong. I’d say we’d win this at Etihad and be 60/40 at the G. Re: Team v cats
We don't perform well when Bruce is out of the team. I'd like to be proven wrong but we will miss Josh's work rate and his running ability. I'd love for us to win but the structure of 3 tall forwards just doesn't make sense to me based on last couple of weeks
There were opportunities last week for the small forwards, but they didn't work hard enough. When there were spillages and when our talls brought the ball to ground, it was usually Adelaide front and square of the marking contest.
Lonie has failed to show he can play at senior level. If Lonie comes in then, either Gresh or Billings should be dropped. The decision to leave Lonie on seniors playing list means they value what he can produce, but the list managers and the coaches must realise his decision making and his impact is not the same as when he plays VFL. Once again I'd like to be proven wrong, but unless Lonie's body starts looking a lttle like Tom Curran's ( delisted couple of years ago) then expect more of the same

Probably could have stopped after the first two sentences and kept a hint of credibility to this post, rather than bring irrelevant stuff into it.ace wrote:Should replace Long.dragit wrote:This is the most exciting team richo has picked in 5 years, unless Froffield is dropped - that would be insane.

Also with Webster injured that saved dropping him.
Given the poor effort in the seniors for the first 3 games, to have ins based on very good effort and form in the VFL was I think a good move.
I know that we are all not happy about Gilbert's disposal at times, but at least he works his arse off.

I don’t get the attacks on Long
Doesn’t set the world on fire but he will be a useful player and played his best game for the club last week

Re: Team v cats
Right at this moment, I want work rate over skills and Gilbert, whilst not being the most highly skilled guy on our team, always gives 110%, you cannot dispute that. After a couple of really mediocre efforts by the Saints so far this year, I want to see these guys now bleed red, white and black.saintsRrising wrote:What I expected.kosifantutti wrote:Final changes

Well said ace! You are clearly an ace! And can you believe this? What you wrote. This is just what my great friend Jim DoorMattis was telling me. This very morning. I think that you are the kind of man who understands what regime change is. Would you like to run a small shithole country for me? Like Geelong? #keepingnukingGeelonggreatagainace wrote:I don't want a battle.saintsRrising wrote:No Battle.
