The umpires cheating against StKilda is sanctioned by the AFL you know.CURLY wrote:Umpires showing there going to ride North already.

I’m hopeful we can find a jam tin to kick it over this quarter

A lot of passengers in that first quarter! Thought longer is at least rucking better today. Can only play better from here. This was about as bad a quarter as you’ll see in afl footy! We should be down by 3-4 goals. Lift boys and give us something to believe in!!

What the hell are Long, Sinclair, McCartin and Steele doing in the team today?! Sinclair is a waste of space... bring in Coffield. McCartin needs 50 games - in the VFL!! Steele is our best current tackler - yet he won't tackle anyone! And Long... just taking up space. Pathetic Saints! Any wonder we can't get better when the Selectors don't even 'challenge' the players?! No-one should be guaranteed a spot - that went out with leather stops! Harden up - the whole bloody lot of ya!

1st qtr thoughts.
Nth should be 20+ up.
We cant hit a damn target by hand/foot.
Carlisle and Steven our best by far.
Bombing out from defense is stupid.
Armo needs to get into game.
Longer has done nothing.

Re: Nth v Mighty Sainters - Match thread
Can’t remember seeing a worse quarter of footy...
Don’t know if there’s wind or it’s a case of the sun getting in ppl’s eyes. For the first 15min it was just turnover city. The Saints look a lot better when they take the game on and run the ball.
Steele is having a shocker... one holding the ball when he played on with no idea of what was infront of him and ran head strain into a Roo... then instead of letting the ball go out in our F50, he decided to try an eagle kick from the boundary about 35m out near the boundary. Out on the full it went.
Would be close to being dropped

That effort in the forward pocket was soft as butter.Con Gorozidis wrote:Sinclair has lost his confidence.

North could have wrapped this game up if they could kick straight
