For what it’s worth, I think the club have shown a wee bit of compassion (and sound commercial sense) in giving Simon Lethlean the opportunity to redeem himself and his career. Could prove to be a very good decision.

He can't get into the confession box till at least Thursday. There's a big queue of AFL officials, club officials, players, NFL, cricketers, corporate executives, TV personalities, etc etc, before him.
No one is perfect, all I am concerned with is he is an experienced administrator and should be a good fit for the Saints, especially after losing Bains.

Good call by the club and refreshing to see an organisation not cowed by the “morally superior” PC brigade. As I understand it he’s a gun and has great connections at AFL headquarters. What’s not to like?

Had some workmates over yesterday. My Muslim workmate cooked some delish Halal meat on my BBQ which we all (bar the one vego) enjoyed. We all had a bit to drink (except the Muslim guy who doesn’t drink) and played board games.
I bought salads from Costco. Unfortunately the potato salad had bacon in it (my accident) so it wasn’t very popular!

Interesting that Carlton passed on him given they had the 2 biggest crooks working for them as administrators. Collins and Elliott. Lower than life those two bastards. The issue for me is the use of work resources to carry on the affair and the use of his position to give the chick a promotion so she 'owed him one'.
He abused his power to get sex.
Totally different story than what you are making out.
We all know he was making regular work trips to Sydney just to bang her.
